Sales conditions

All the apartements and studios rented out belong to private owners. These owners have given a mandate to the Montagne Rental Agency to manage the rental of the apartements during the holidays seasons. All these apartments and studios are rented equipped with plates and dishes, cultery, blankets and pillows but without personal linen such as sheets, pillow-cases and towels.

Prices

Our prices are all-inclusive and cover water, electricity and heating. in some case, for example long-term rentals, (The tenant will be informed of the current kwh cost). The "taxe de sejour", a mandatory visitors' tax payable to the french government, must also be paid.

 

Deposite

The balance of the rental price and the damage depposit must be paid on arrival when the keys are picked up. The damage deposite will be completely refunded within two weeks after departure if the apartment is left in the exact clean and functional state as it is found upon arrival. Expenses for repair and cleaning, replacement of broken, cracked, stained or spoiled objcets and cleaning or drycleaning of soiled mattresse, pillows, blankets or covers will be deducted from the damage deposit.

 

Inventory check

An inventory list (checked and updated by the agency after each departure) can be found in each apartement. Please ensure that you check this inventory carefully and personally on your arrival. The agency must be informed of any discrepancies within 48 hours (preferably in writing). After 48 hours, the tenant will be held responsable for any spoiled, broken, cracked or missing objects. The cost of replacement will be deducted from the damage deposit.In order to facilitate the inventory check, please ensure that :

- The apartement is thoroughly cleaned (unless you have paid the extra cleaning charge).

- The plates, dishes, glasses etc. are thoroughly clean and replaced in their original positions.

- The blankets and undersheets are folded and the bedspeads put back on the beds or sofas.

Owner and agency responsibility

The owner and the agency take no reponsibility for the loss or theft of the personal belongings of the tenant. This applies for the apartment / studio and for the ski-lockers. Please note that the tenant is required to take out personal holiday insurance to cover any losses, theft or damage caused to the apartement.

On leaving, please ensure that the electricity meter is switched off and the refridgerator is left open. Keys, linen and televisions should be returned to the agency.
